Oscar Robertson ("The Big O") is one of the most enduringly popular and respected athletes of our time. Recently named "Player of the Century" by the National Association of Basketball Coaches, he is generally considered the greatest all-around player in the history of the game. Robertson has been an all-time all-star at every level from high school to the National Basketball Association, and remains an international ambassador for the game 26 years after his retirement. He is a member of the National Basketball Hall of Fame, immediate past President of the Retired NBA Players Association, and served for 11 years as President of the NBA Players Association.

Robertson's philanthropic work is legendary as well. He is a national advocate for organ transplantation through his work with the National Kidney Foundation and the U.S. Transplant Games. Through organizations such as the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, he has helped to mentor and encourage thousands of youngsters.
